Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, is hallowed ground for professional football fans in the United States. The stadium is one of the oldest stadiums in the National Football League as well as one of the NFL's best stadiums for tailgating. And although Green Bay, Wisconsin is the smallest market in the National Football League, the Green Bay Packers fan base are arguably the most passionate fan base in league history. Make no mistake about it, Lambeau Field is a special place to see a football game. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the Lambeau Field seating chart to help fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Green Bay Packers tickets.
Where To Sit At Lambeau Field
Lambeau Field is a very easy stadium to navigate. “The Atrium” is the heart of Lambeau Field and is home to the Green Bay Packers pro shop, the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, the 1919 Kitchen & Tap, and can be booked for private events. The stadium doesn’t have a ton of premium seating areas. One major downside to games at Lambeau Field is that most of the seats are the metal bleachers that you’ll see in most college football stadiums. You aren't required to sit on the metal bleachers alone; just be prepared. Many Green Bay Packers fans purchase the portable seat backs and bring them to Lambeau Field on game day. If you're from out of town and are only going to Lambeau Field once, you can rent a seat back for $5 or $6.
The general seats are all sections at Lambeau Field with the exception of the club seats. The general seats closest to the field, also called the lower bowl seats, include sections 100 through 138. There are sections numbered in the 300’s, 600’s, and 700’s that are also considered general seats as well (see below). The rows for all of the general sections at Lambeau Field are as follows. Keep in mind that the number of rows could slightly vary from section to section but these numbers are in the same ballpark.
- Sections 100 through 138: Rows are numbered 1 through 61
- Sections 300 through 345: Rows are numbered 1 through 9
- Sections 630s through 648s: Rows are numbered 1 through 10

The Green Bay Packers sideline is located in front of sections 118, 120, and 122. The visiting team’s sideline is located in front of sections 117, 119, and 121. The Green Bay Packers’ tunnel is located adjacent to sections 131 and 133. The visiting team’s tunnel at Lambeau Field is located adjacent to sections 137 and 138 in the south end zone.
Unlike most NFL stadiums, Lambeau Field offers premium club seating both indoors and outdoors; 3,000 seats in each setting. The outdoor club seats consist of sections 403 through 435. The indoor club seats consist of sections 470 through 492, and sections 670 through 694. The number of rows in each club section at Lambeau Field are as follows.

- Sections 470 through 492: Rows are numbered 1 through 5

Like many NFL stadiums, the Green Bay Packers have implemented mobile ticketing technology at Lambeau Field. Tickets printed at home are no longer accepted upon entry. Instead, fans are asked to download the Green Bay Packers mobile app. The only exception will be that season ticket holders will be mailed hard copies of their tickets. However, those tickets will need to be sent electronically if they’re resold on a website like StubHub or transferred to another person. To learn more about the mobile ticket policies at Lambeau Field, please visit Packers.com.
As stated earlier, Lambeau Field is one of the best stadiums in the National Football League for tailgating. Nevertheless, there are still plenty of Green Bay Packers fans that don’t have the opportunity to put on a big tailgate outside of the stadium. Fans that wish to enjoy pregame festivities are able to join the Vivid Seats VIP Tailgate on the 1919 Kitchen & Tap patio. The Vivid Seats VIP Tailgate is sold as a VIP package and offers fans all-inclusive buffet food, two Miller-Lite beers or two soft drinks, access to a cash bar, and your choice of tickets to the game.

10 to 20 rows up from the field anywhere. If you sit to low players tend to block your view near your sideline. The best tickets I ever had was section 134 row 1 seats 3 and 4! Lambeau leap, NFL camera shot area!
The “frozen tundra” is a myth. The ground at Lambeau Field, legendary home of the Green Bay Packers, is heated. It has not been frozen during a football game since it was dubbed the “frozen tundra” more than 40 years ago.

I would say at the minimum, a good pair of hunting boots with hollofil or pac boots with the thick wool liners are ok to keep the feet warm. Do NOT wear just running shoes or sneakers and expect to keep warm feet. You will be chilled to bone, irregarless of what the temp is.
Price of a Hot Dog: $6
The beers and dogs at Lambeau cost a bit above average, with the beer price increasing 50 cents this season.
As for the Packers, a spokesman tells FOX11 Investigates, “We understand the desire of some fans to have their ashes, or those of friends or family, spread at Lambeau Field, but it is against facility policy and against the law.”
Wear layers upon layers of socks, warm boots and maybe even pack some toe warmers. In addition, make sure those shoes are waterproof. The last thing you want is to step in some snow or a puddle and have wet, cold feet for the next three hours. In case you didn't know, the bathrooms at Lambeau are heated.
Blankets, which don't fall under the NFL's bag policy, are still permitted inside stadiums. The only exception to the new bag rule is for people bringing medically necessary items into the stadium. Each stadium will have a separate entrance where medically necessary items can be inspected.
But how do you keep the turfgrass growing during Green Bay's short and often cloudy fall and winter days? You use grow lights, of course. Each evening, banks of grow lights are set up on the field to provide “sunlight” to the Kentucky bluegrass.
LOWER LEVEL (Sections 100-138)
Seating is on an aluminum bench, without seat backs, located in Rows 1-60 all around Lambeau Field. Even numbered SIDELINE sections (110-130) are on the west "Packer" side of Lambeau Field. Odd numbered SIDELINE sections (109-129) are on the east "visitors" side of Lambeau Field.
